Traveling all over the world!!

It is my dream that I travel all over the world to meet people and see the different cultures. UK was the first country I came abroad. And then I visited France, Estonia and Greece. The next country I'd like to discover is South America, especially Colombia and Venezuela.

Those two countries are known as dangerous areas where there are still civil wars and serious political problems going on. Although a Colombian charter plane crashed in Venezuela on 16th August, I think those countries are still attractive to visit.

Here you can find the travel information from different countries. Check a country you are interested in before you visit!!

Dream of the trip to Okinawa

In Japan we say Okinawa is one of the most amazing holiday island. Because there are beautiful beaches, marine sports such as scuba diving,water-skiing and swimming with dolphins and also luxurious cruising, so all generations can enjoy their time in Okinawa.

As it is 60th anniversary of the end ofthe World War Sencond, I tend to look back the past and History of Okinawa let me realise we should not do it over again. So for the people who are interested in the War,it is a good idea to visit Okinawa. You can enjoy the historical aspect and the beautiful beaches.

Drug problems in Ibiza

It is getting a bit colder these days inBirmingham. Have you been on holiday during summer this year?

Ibiza is one of the most popular place for young holiday makers. Every year there are thousands of people visiting from Britain and enjoy themselves in the dance music atmosphere. However there is a serious problem with people overdosing on drugs.

After the death of an irish man (25) in early August, Ibiza health officials have has warned clubbers not to buy or take drugs.

The BBC reported that most of the drugs in Ibiza are from UK. Sothe clubbers that are selling drugs from the UK are causing a lot of problems for other clubbers.

So why do people take drugs rather than just having fun by getting drunk? I think it is a wasting money and a huge risk.

If you are brave enough not to take drugs in Ibiza, here is some useful tour information:

What makes good blog?

I have looked at the several kinds of weblogs and I found it is very important to focus on 1 topic when you write blogs. I have read the one called “Going Underground’s blog”. (http://london-underground.blogspot.com/)

It talks about what is happening at the London underground with impressive photos. Also there is a map of London underground which makes it clear for its readers who haven’t been to the London before.

It's got the numerous links for London bus routes, travel, travel insurance and other blogs talking about London, not only links but also adverts of books which are about London. I found it interesting and informative.

In “Innocents Abroad” (http://www.innocentsabroad.blogspot.com/) that won the Best Euro-blog in 2003, although the contents of the story are completely different, this also includes a variety of links and a lot of information in a specific area. It seems to contain more comments on topics than the London underground blog.

To sum up, it is important to have an extensive knowledge of the topic to write the an interesting and impressive blog. The links should be well researched and make clear differences between the article and link. You will also need to have originality.

Online Journalism as a form

Online news is different from the newspaper. It has links, more photos and some time audio and video. You can easily put the comments on the articles as well. Also clickable interactives make readers familiar with stories and easy to access to the point where they want to find out.

For example the story about travel includes a map of the country, the route to the places to visit. Whereas if you look at newspaper, you can’t easily find the way and end up buying the tour magazines or go onto Internet website.

Also by clicking the linked website, you can look at the images and scenery of the country you are going to visit, learn the history before you go and plan your trip.

Besides there are possibility to find the live chats, quizzes, surveys, games, weblogs and anything that the writers invented.
